Google Squared - Google just released a new search tool called Google Squared. When you search for something instead of getting a list of web links you get data displayed in a special spreadsheet-type format. Try typing in "genealogy" to get an idea of how it works. [Link]

Last Titanic Survivor Dies - USA Today has a story about how Millivina Dean, the last Titanic survivor, has died at the age of 97. She was just two months old when her parents wrapped her in a sack and sent her to safety in a lifeboat. [Link]
American Car Companies That Went Under - This week marked the bankruptcy of General Motors. Take a trip down memory lane and view some pictures of other car companies that have gone under over the last several decades. Check out the Studebaker. [Link]
Best Free Windows Downloads - PC magazines are always putting out lists of the best free downloads for Windows. However, this list caught our attention because it is not from a PC magazine and it is much more thoughtful than most of these types of lists. Some of the stuff on this list is useful even if technology is not your thing. [Link]
